Well here i am ....

After a long and emotional journey i finally got my ultimate wish and got my BFP. A lot of you here may not know me but i have been a regular for some time over on the TTC section so i will fill you in on my story ...

I had been TTC with my ex for a looooooong time, 18 months at least and nothing, then i met my husband to be Carl last summer and well things went from there .... The doctors were convinced i was poorly and has scans and blood tests and all sorts and warned for the possibilty of IVF ...

Then my next appointment with the gyn to discuss further infertility tests is monday ... and guess what? All of a sudden im pregnant!! How odd is that .. after only 5 months of trying with Carl

So as you all can imagine we are both over the moon!! :happydance::happydance:

At 4 weeks and 5 days let the journey begin, ready for a christmassy baby :baby:

its so nice to see you over here you really deserve it im really pleased for you!

So here we are our 5 week anniversary ALREADY!! Only another 35 to go!!
God christmas suddenly seems like aaaaages away!!

Im going to do my best to keep a pregnancy journal up as i loved my TTC one soooo much, it racked up over 40 pages!! So either im dead popular (i wish) or im just a huggge gossip!!

Not much to note atm apart from i seem to be right off drinking tea and guzzling fruit juice like its going out of fashion. Since friday im drinking at least a litre a day!! I hope its not bad!!

Not been sleeping to great either, dont know if its because im dead excited or what. Carl said that last night in my sleep i woke him up and said "can you go get something for the baby" awww how sweet!!

Right over and out for now ladies, ill update once i have been to doctors 2moro!!

Since I do not have dust to spread here, I just want to give some :hugs: and Congratulations!!!!!

i dont think fruit juice is bad hun i think the only thing itll make you do is poo, just make sure you drink diff kinds so you get a nice mix of yummy vitamins!

gosh your doctor is going to be shocked, do you know if they are going to get you booked in early because you have been trying for so long?

you need to get your feet up lady rest and enjoy!

I dont have a clue ... im not seeing my normal doctor as she is fully booked, i am seeing some random. But yes i am going to push push push for an early scan.

Will let you ladies know how i get on, my appt is at 3.15 this afternoon.

ive too have drank sooooooo much this wkd my bellies huge already just from water. ive gone a loo at least every hr. Dont drink to much jucie i have 1 big glass a day go 2wards my 5 a day fruit......

I have one very large glass of milk and then the rest is water....................

ive not been to bad sleeping feel fatigue altho everytime i fall asleep my oh phone is going off said wont be none of that soon

going for my blood tests on wednesday and am waiting for a referral

my trick of getting an early scan- wait for you 12week letter to come, call your early preg unit ask to speak to the sister, explain youve been trying for a long time and you really concerned they should book you in, but be careful cause in certain areas if you have an early scan it counts as your dating scan and you wont get another until 20 weeks.

Well ladies the doctors went well!!

I couldnt see my normal one as she was fully booked but the one i saw was like "omgggggggg why didnt you see dr hartree she will be so pleased"

Nice eh?

So she took a ton of notes, height, weight, blood pressure and she said i am absolutley perfect (come on we didnt need a doc to tell me that :rofl:)

She said she doesnt think i should have an early scan, it will just make me stress and worry more so just try to relax and my 12 week should be her in no time.

She did say though that they might do it a little early just incase my last period was a duff one as it was way late and only lasted 2 days, so i could be further on than we think. Its doubtful though, u know when you just know your own body.

Soooooooo one appointment down another 50 million to go!!

Not feeling too bad today .. am very tired though. I think last night was the first night in a week i have slept right through!! Have been having cramping for the last few days which i know is pretty normal. Doesnt help the anxious paranoid side of me though.

Am getting quite bad back ache at the bottom which is pee'ing me off already. Dont know if thats my body changing or these flippin huge knockers that ive got :rofl: which are only going to get bigger in the next few weeks, oh joy!!

Thats enough for me for the moment i am going home for lunch .... little sticky bean is getting nice fresh cheese topped bread rolls for lunch yummy yummy!!:rofl:

Second thought for the day i am feeling reeeeeeeaally tender, not when im walking around but when i sit down i get an unconfortable kinda pain for a second then its gone ... odd

Im so tired i just want a little sleep!!

5 weeks + 3 days
Why do i feel like everything is going so slow for me? It seems other girls who are at the same stage as me have already heard from midwifes and got appointments and scans booked but i have heard absolutley zilch.

I managed to sleep through last night :happydance: felt a teeny tiny bit of nausea this morning but nothing to disrupt my usual routine. I have a feeling im going to suffer with it terribly. Apart from that im doing ok.

Ive just re read all of that and god i sound grumpy today :rofl: right im going to do some work before i have a serious whinge :rofl:

alot of people dont even see their midwifes untill 10-12 weeks hun its usually if youve had m/c or fertility issues that they book you in early between 6 and 8 weeks so dont panic :-)

youll have days that drag then youl have 6 weeks fly by then youl be back to dragging days again, you just go to roll with it.

well ive been lucky i got my gp appointment the day i done a test and i got this appointment 1st antinatel appointment due to cancellations lucky really...

Otherwise would have had to wait...

I have had slight fertility probs n was under the gyni for a yr just slight pcos which is why i got the clomid. Maybe thats y

Im soooooo exhausted this afternoon i just want to go and snuggle on my sofa and go to sleep.

5 weeks + 4 days
Well i should be 5 weeks and 4 days but my stupid ticker is stuck!! grrr

Ooo nothing is going right for me today, i seem to be in such a grump. Im tired and just want to go home to sleep. Work have given me a ton of extra things that i am now responsible for on top of all my own crap. I work 10 hours a day already so i dont know where they think im going to find time to ring people and book them in for service and mot. Its not in my contract anyway to cold call people ....

Bad day eh? I am in serious need of a big glass of wine and a cigarette but i cant:cry::cry:

Can you believe its been a whole week since i found out i was pregnant? Sunday i will be 6 weeks :happydance:

I was wide awake bright and early this morning, saying that i was fast asleep by 9.30pm. A bit annoyed because i was trying my best to stay awake to watch my name is earl.

It feels really weird to think that im not TTC anymore, counting my cycle days ... i thought in the car this morning ... must be near O time soon. :rofl:

I guess its just habit eh?

On a good note .. its Friday ... and dirty lunch day at work. So KFC today i think yummy yummy. Havent got much work in today so will spend most it fart arsing around (mervs mum will love that :rofl:)

Oh yes lots of fart arsing around this morning ... im taking a sneaky long lunch seeings as my boss isnt here today :muaha:

Have had a spate of feeling really sick for the last hour ... was pissed because i was dead excited about having my KFC. Seems to have eased off now so looks like i WILL get my KFC. Its so nice i can eat that kinda thing if i WANT it. I was on a diet right up until the day i got my BFP. Wanted to squeeze niceley into my size 8 dress for my friends wedding in 3 weeks, no chance of that now!!:cry:

i think you should bring kfc here... you not THAT far away lol!

I work in letchworth so thats milessss away from you!! I could grow a chicken, kill it and cook it whilst sitting in traffic from letchworth to MK lol

lol its ok its 9pm and james has gone out to get me kfc yum yum!

5 weeks + 6 days
So here we are almost at the 6 week mark!! This last week seems to have flown by!!

Went to get my nails done last night and the lady in the shop said straight away, somethings different are you pregnant? I thought sod it and told her, she was dead pleased, ive been getting my nails done by her for 4 years now so i know her pretty well.

Spent a little time pondering last night and ended up thinking that my youngest half sister Annie would be 1 when my little bump arrives!! How odd will that be .. Plus by the time bump arrives im going to be the grand old age of 22 and Carl will be 33!! 22 and i already have a good career and am earning 25k a year. Thats not bad for someone my age right? And now im going to have to give it up for a while. Bummer, i busted my butt to get as far in my job as i am, but hey my job cant go anywhere can it?

So she'll be a very young auntie indeed!! One of my friends was having her first when her own mum was having her youngest brother!!! So the uncle is actually a few months younger than the nephew!!!

Thats another week down, think im getting the hang of this now :rofl:

Havent done too much today apart from eat, :sleep: and feel sick on and off. Its no real patter at the moment im just feeling sick at really random times which is annoying.

Weve been talking today aboout how i am going to have to sacrifice my make up/hair/ironing room to make a nursery for the baby. Ive waited years to have enough space for my own dressing room and now ive got to give it up :hissy: Im sure it'll be worth it.

the sickness is the worst! ive never ever been as ill as i am when im pregnant!

im sure itll be worth it hun, besides you wont have time to do your hair or make up :P

Bleeergh i HATE mondays with a passion :hissy:

Carl is sick ... he comes bursting into the bathroom while im trying to wash my hair demanding i get out because he felt poorly. So ive left him at home on the sofa with the "magic" blanket. I reaaaally felt the urge to go "oh i feel sick every bloody day but you dont see me acting like a big baby" but i resisted and played the sympathetic darling that i am :rofl:

Everyone at work is being annoying .. customers i mean

On the PG side of things nothing new to report. Actually .. i must stop wearing these high waisted trousers aka posh spice, i cannot get the top button done up anymore. Bugger they are my favourite :cry: I think its just bloat but im getting a right little belly on me

mondays are crap!
men are so dramatic when they are ill arnt they! i wont let james near me if he is ill while im pregnant, im like i feel ill enough on my own that you!

Changing the subject...I saw a car at the weekend with one of those signs you can put in the window - like the baby on board type thing.
As I walked towards it I burst out laughing - at first glance I honestly thought it said 'No Fart Arsing' !!!!!!!!!!!!! I was OMG-WFT!!!! I have to have one for Holly!!!!! But as I got closer it actually said 'No Farting Allowed'.....

I need new specs....my hubby was looking at my like I'd finally lost it!!!

You will have nothing to worry about really, i think of course your bump i going to grow but into a cuttie.

I m a dancer so i ve always had a ultra tight stomach but i must admit when i had my MC at three month, my stomach was a little podgy but a little exercise and its back into action.

Looking at your skinny belly , i think its going to be the same.

Plus its really nice when you see your belly going from flat to big ... its amazing so you better keep a foto diary.

I'll keep it short ans sweet today ... im hot and tired and want a nap :sleep:

Not really got anything new to report on the PG front, no new or odd symptoms which i guess is good. Im feeling pretty ok, having the odd bout of nausea but nothing really bad. Is this all im going to get or is it going to get worse? Will have to wait and see!!

i hate to break it to you but i found that it all got worse around 6 weeks..... hopefully youll be one of the lucky ones!

I was fine last time also till about 6 1/2 weeks then it was bad, i was quite smug till then ...jeje.

Thinking ooh this is quite easy then at xmas i was ill.

But maybe your going to be a lucky bunny x

Woohooo almost halfway through the week!! Am getting a little annoyed atm as i am right off food and cant stomach being near any food in the morning. I know how important breakfast is and i always try to make sure i get something but i just cant :hissy:

Am looking foward to some serious shopping this weekend, ive got a friends wedding to go to on 10th may, so im off to by a dress. Not sure what im going to get but something cute while i can still fit into it :rofl:

I was on facebook last night and went onto my mums page and saw a coversation on here wall between her and her best friend it said

"OMG going to be a granny at 39 im not old enough!! Still its the best xmas present ever"

Awwww how sweet is that? Me and my mum are close close but not in the way where we say things like that to eachother, its more of an unspoken thing you know. So i was dead pleased to read that.

Oh god i think the MS has deffo kicked in now.

Managed to puke twice yesterday :cry: what i find odd is how i feel so sick, puke up and then within half an hour im munching pizza & chips :rofl: Feeling extremely tired too.

Havent heard anything from doctors or midwife and its been a couple of weeks now. Im starting to get a little worried. Luckily one of my customers who is coming in for MOT on monday is the head of the ultrasound dept at my local hospital so i will pester her to find out whats going on for me :happydance: Might offer her some free servicing in exchange for some free scans :rofl:

Right im off to drink my hot chocolate before i feel sick again!!

I was suprised at how they just seem to leave you alone for ages to start with. I suppose that they like you to get through the first few weeks just to be sure.

I remember the sickness... I dont envy you at all, it was awful. It passes sooner than you think though, chin up!

I actually remember going from leeds to portsmouth in the car then to the Isle of Wight on the ferry at about 10 weeks pregnant. Not a lot of fun at all.

I always found mints helped with sickness though :) Might work for you

Almost the end of the week :happydance: im sooo glad its friday and ive got the weekend off work, i could really do with a rest im knackered :sleep:

Almost at 7 weeks now ... so close :happydance:

Had a lovely day, the sun has been shining and it was 22 degress so i spent the afteroon relaxing in the sun drinking cappucino's in the back garden with my mum. Even managed to go out with a dress on which was nice but was a kinda floaty on, makes you look ten times more pregnant than you are :rofl:

Am being pestered by my cousin as she wants the hurry up and know if im having a girl or a boy ... like i will know already lol? She has a little girl and she is keeping her pram for me until i find out what im having. I always said i wanted an "old school" pram. It cost her about £700 so you an see why shes dying to get rid, get back some of the cash on it.

Back to moi, havent been feeling too bad today, FINALLY got my sweet and sour chicken balls for tea :happydance::happydance:

:happydance::happydance: yay 7 weeks already!! One minute the time drags then all of a sudden it feels like someone has hit the fast foward button!!

I have got the sickness thing sussed, i am not getting typical ms, i feel sick when i need to eat, so at really random times of the day but not in the mornings which is good as i couldnt function in the mornings anyway!!

Im so happy to see a few of the girls from TTC over here this month, we shared our TTC journeys and now we can share our pregnancy journies!!

Back to boring old work 2moro :cry: i want some time off!!

God i feel so full!! Im not used to eating so much!! I know its the whole little and often thing but thats still more than im used to eating :hissy:

So now ive got a little thing for mini cheddars and ribena that has suddenly developed. My eating habits are changing week to week. Have got my food shop tonight after work so will be interesting to see what ends up in my trolley :rofl:

Midwife rang me yesterday but i was sleeeeeeping, she sounds a bit "older" as she kept calling me "my dear" in the voicemail that she left so im pleased she sounds nice. Now all ive got to do is get the ball rolling and go in and see her :happydance::happydance:

Good luck with the midwife, my booking in was with an older lady, she seemed nice enough, although i am having the same midwife as last year, so be good she know's my history etc.

Hmmm ribena and chedders yummy! Have fun with the food shop!

Right first appt with the midwife is 2moro .... yay now lets get this ball rolling!!

Ooooh! Tomorrow!! What time?? Its all official now!!!!

Well im back from my appointment and it went really well, midwife is lovely so im pleased about that!! Ive got all my paperwork so now i need to book my scan and off we go!!

Not feeling to bad today, sickness has been on and off, my cup of tea at breakfast didnt even hit my tummy for more than a mintue before it came back out lol :rofl:

Almost halfway through the week now :happydance:

Sickness is starting to become more frequent in the mornings now but still bad around meal times. I feel like such a fraud right now. I cant stomach to cook as its always before mealtimes that i feel the worst, so poor old Carl is stuck cooking for us both, i manage to start it off but he has to do most of it. I have ALWAYS cooked for him, he works so hard for me to keep a nice home so making sure he has his dinner is the least i can do :hissy:

On a slightly funnier not uh oh uh oh the sex dreams have started!! Last night i was trying to get carl to have a sneaky quickie in a disabled toilet in tescos ... i woke up and almost pee'd myself with laughter :rofl::rofl: I was like no no i wont have sex dreams and BAMMM theyve hit me.

Didnt manage to update my journal again yesterday to say that my first scan is on the 23rd mf May ... so looking foward to seeing little bean, i know Carl is too, it will make him so much more involved because all he has at the mintue to show for it is a sick girlfriend :rofl:

Totally no what you mean about the dinner thing i feel so bad just cant bring myself to cook i still do all the cleaning and washing just cant be around food at the mo im ok eating it tho....

My oh does not make dinner tho infact he hasnt been around for 3wks now his out all the time and sometimes i dont mind cause i feel bad that i cant do anything or be intimate but other times i feel alone..

past few days have been the hardest hormones all over the place want to kill someone n keep crying feel down n fed up with feeling sick

Well the start of a whole new month and my first full month of being pg!! This is going to be an exciting month with my first scan at the end of the month :happydance:

After that i can start shopping:baby: YAY

Havent been feeling too bad today actually, been sicky on and off and i swear my trousers are getting too tight i can only have the middle of 3 buttons done up :rofl: at nearly 8 weeks? Surely that must be bloat? I am a skinny minny and wear a size 8 though.

Right im back to my stressful afternoon at work :muaha:

Carl has been pestering me "how can you spend all day on that thing talking to people ... who is even awake at 8am when we get to work?" He kinda felt sheepish when i said it wasnt just a UK forum :rofl:

I am going into town this weekend to buy some maternity trousers .. not that i quite need them yet but i am such an awkward shape and as my teeny tiny tummy is starting to progress my trousers are just uncomfy. So may aswell buy them early and be comfy than thry and stay in my normal trousers all squashed and uncomfy. At the moment i am wearing a skirt i have thats got an elasticated wast because it is soooooo much comfier (is that even a word?)

Had sudden realisation last night that at the end of the month i will be able to start picking up bits for LO. Im so excited!! I have seen some gorgeous juicy couture baby stuff that i like so cant wait to pick those up. Expensive but one or two wont hurt, its not like i will be kitting the whole wardrobe out :rofl:

I seem to be sleeping better this last week, i think its because im settling into being PG which is nice.

Hehe have fun with the maternity shopping. I bought a load of tunic type dresses and leggings from topshop (not maternity wear though) hoping I would get pregnant soon.

Since i have fallen PG my brain has just turned to mush, everyone at work bless them thinks that its funny. I keep forgetting to put bookings on the system, raising jobs, booking cars :dohh:

Had another weird dream last night .. i must of been at about 20 weeks and carls ex came into our work and demanding to see carl being all snotty and turning her nose up when she realised i was PG, then they went off into the parts department and shut the door and wouldnt let me in so i walked off in a hump :hissy: Funny thing is shes an average looking blonde but in my dream she was a 6ft 20 stone ugly brunette :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Anyway sweet pea, thought I would drop a line by ya to make sure you are ok! Im waiting until I go for my scan before I start buying nappies etc...When I was pregy with DS we started buying disposable nappes from when we found out so that it didnt cost so much by the time bubby came! We just bought a packet of newborn nappies a week...it helped alot!

Carl is sick ... he's got a bad throat, diddums. Another perfect time for me to say "well how do you think i feel, but im not acting like a big baby" but i dont want to get moaned at all day i want some peace and quiet :hissy:

God i just had a thought ... im only 5 weeks away from going over 2nd tri!! Jeeez thats a scary thought, a good one but still a little scary!!

I cant belive i had such a lazy day yesterday, i didnt even get dressed all day!! woke up at 8ish then went back to sleep from 11 until 2 ... :hissy:

Spent half the night wriggling away from carl, he has a horrible cold and he kept trying to cuddle me, but i dont want his germs lol so i kept wriggling away :rofl:

I noticed this morning that my CM all of a sudden is appearing in huggge amounts, i coughed and suddenly felt all wet so ran to the loo to make sure i hadnt pee'd myself :rofl: now that could of been embarassing!!

Right im off to do some housework then have a well earned nap :happydance:

I had the most terrible earcache yesterday OMG!! This is the first time in 20 odd years ive had earcache ouchies!! I just wanted to sleep yesterday evening or take some anadin ultra but i couldnt :cry:

Mum rang this morning to say a letter had arrived for me (im still registered with the GP at her house as i move so much lol) hopefully its confirmation of my scan date or an appointment for my bloods to be done. I hate bloods, if my arm goes all black this time im gona take a pic, seriously looks like ive been manhandled :rofl::rofl:

Right im going out in the sun for 5 mins while ive got no customers :happydance:

YAY its sunny again!! Such a lovely day but it gets really warm in the showroom its like a big greenhouse!!

I think im sick ladies ... i had earache and headache a couple of days ago and i got it reaaaaaally bad last night again. I didnt even eat my dinner and was sleeping from 7.30 right through to bed time. It seems to ease off if i lie flat :cry: so today i feel a bit strange, not PG strange but sick strange. Think im going to go home for lunch and take the afternoon off :happydance:

Might have a little sleep this afternoon and walk into town and get my nails done :muaha:

Went to get my nails done and the little lady in there was patting her tummy when i walked in saying "oh look your getting a teeny tiny bump already"

I think she just meant my podge over my skinnies but nonetheless it was still cute and the first time anyone has said i "look" like im having a baby

Uh oh ladies i havent gone into work today :muaha: I feel so drained i thought id have a rest at home today. So ive got the balcony doors wide open and the sunshine pouring in :happydance: Dont really intend on doing much today anyway.

m/s and loss of appetite seem to be alternating the past couple of days, one minute im feeling sick and need food, the next i feel fine just have no desire for food. Its weird but id rather not want to eat than feel sick, i really hate it lol

Randomly had a thought last night "where has my sex drive gone?" i dont think its changed, im just feeling a bit to crappy for any action, plus Carls had a horrible cold. Bugger hurry up and come back lol ... its a bit of a shock tot he system when your used to going at it like rabbits when TTC :rofl:

Gosh and i thought the 2ww when TTC was long :rofl:

Havent gone to work again today, im still having this weird headache and earache thing on and off so thought id stay home today ... its friday anyway not much point in going to work for one day is there?

So this afternoon im going to have a soak in the bath, de fuzz, and st tropez myself so im nice and tanned for my friends wedding tomorrow, im really looking foward to it, this will be the first time me and carl have been to a "do" together :cloud9: secretly i cant wait to show my handsome fella off :happydance:

was a bit naughty today though, i know we arent supposed to eat prawns and mayo but i had a sudden craving for a prawn mayo sandwich, but it had to be from a specific shop so i drove a round trip of 26 miles just to get a sandwich from this shop :muaha: naughty i know but i couldnt settle until id had one. Bad Holly :rofl:

2 weeks today until my scan :happydance::happydance:

When I passed the prawns in Sainsbury's today I was drooling......Oh well a little of what you fancy wont hurt - I ate loads of nuts last night and my sister was :shock:.....she was 'perfect' when she was preggie.....I'm never perfect......:lol:

YAY i made it through another week only 31 to go lol!!

The wedding yesterday was great, although it was very hot and sticky, got lots of nice piccies, ill pop a few up in here later. I decided on a dress then didnt have ANY shoes to wear so Carl said "what about those shoes in that box in the wardrobe" errrr nope, not my Manolo's :cry: He ended up talking me into wearing them out of the house for the very first time and i must say my feet felt like they were wearing a pair of £500 shoes, me thinks i might wear them more often now :muaha:

My mum proceeded to tell every person she met that i was pregnant which made me laugh, she didnt even know half of them:blush:

Right i have the urge for pancakes and syrup from macdonalds for my breakfast .... ciao for now ladies

You never know what tomorrow may bring so wear your Manolos for work woman!!! My fav shoe tipple are Jimmy Choo.....I have 7 pairs at the moment and I wear them to school!!! Got up this morning and put my work clothes on .... OMG my belly looked huuuuge!! Ok not huge huge but huge compared to what it looked like yesterday im sure :hissy:

Got to work and my doppler had turned up over the weekend, i just ordered an angel sounds one from ebay for £20.00 just to see how i get on, if i like them then i might order an expensive one ... for now this one will do.

So back to work ... its nice to have a couple of days off but its also nice to be occupied and have something to do, just a shame its so sunny outside :cry:

OOh, the bump is coming along! its so cute !!

I did have a try in the office at work but couldnt hear anything it was wayyyyyy to noisy. Will give it a try after ive done my shopping tonight. Dont want to get my hopes up too much on hearing it because if i cant hear it i'll go off into a panic, im a nightmare for that lol

Dont panic if you cant. I had the dodgy Angelsounds one and never heard a thing but bubs is deffo fine! Did you get the one with the little pink heart on it?? I think bigbelly2 gave some tips to Cheryl on that one and she got it quite quickly.

Well the doppler wasnt such a great sucess ... dumb blonde i am couldnt even find my own heartbeat :rofl::rofl: so i let carl loose with it, he had a play around for about 20 minutes and couldnt find anything so he gave up. Was kinda cute though as before he started he was like "you know if i hear something im gona piss my pants" how charming!!

Not feeling so great today, a little bit sicky but nothing like i had been the last few weeks.

Had the head of ulatrasound dept in for some more work on her car today so i was firing questions about my scan next week at her, she's dead helpful so hopefully if she's there i'll be a little more relaxed. I hate to admit it but im starting to get a little bit scared about the scan ... it feels like this could be the point where my pregnancy dreams comes crashing to an end. Im not normally a negative thinker but i just seem to have a niggly doubt in the back of my head. Is it normal to think odd things like that? :hissy:

Aww I am sure you will find it soon. I saw a post on another thread that said that it is better if you have a full bladder - don't know if you already tried that though.

AND - I bet your scan goes great!! I guess it is normal to worry, I am worried and I don't even have my date yet. That's great that you have links in high places :D

hey polo got the scan on 30th may cant believe that on sunday it will be week 10 then only 2wks till wk 12 when hopefully this sikness should calm down.

havnt been to bad these last couple of days dont no if its the tablets, eating more or its just dying down now....

im very excited about the scan as it will bring this baby to life and make it more real but im also very scared that there may not be a heart beat or there could be something wrong...

i still cant believe im pregnant its sureal i think everyone has a million emotions going thro them im sure ull be ok

Had fish and chips for lunch, oh my it was so good!! I havent had fish and chips for at least 7/8 months. I sat there like a big kid afterwards feeling slightly sick :rofl:

I went for mine at 6 weeks (seeings as I m/c last pregy) and I couldnt even see the heartbeat...so I was definately thinking OH CRAP NO HEARBEAT......not to say the little bean was tiny...but afterwards...the lady who did the scan (I dont think she was very good) said oh by the way...the heartbeat looks good, just as we were leaving...I was struggling not to cry up until then! STUPID WOMAN!!!! Dont you know you are supposed to tell a lady that as soon as you see the heartbeat....MAYBE SHE WAS NEW!!!!!!

But apart from my experience...take care of yourself and Im sure that things will be A OK!!!

they feel way too tight today, so ive had to do a little manoevure seeings as im at work, ive pulled my hairband out and looped it through my button hole to give me an extra coupled of inches ... ahah i feel like a right little pikey :rofl:

Im feeling a little crampy the last couple of days, im not sure what kind of cramps though, kinda like the ones you get when you need a poop. So i keep running to the toilet thinking i need to go ... when i dont.

I have a headache, and am feeling a little sicky and tired today .. boo, just when i was having a good few days too!!

9 weeks & 5 days
Blimey this week seems to be going so fast, before i know it it'll be 10 weeks. Got my scan next friday so im excited about that. Here they do it between 10and 13 weeks so by then i'll be 10 + 5 which should give me a good enough look at little bean.:cloud9:

Im thinking about getting a private sexing scan at around 16 weeks .... blimey thats only 7 weeks away!! Its £100 but i reaaaaally wana know, and the scan lady told me they dont really look for it at my local hospital either. I just want to know already :hissy:

had a weird dream last night that me, carl and the baby stayed at this weird castle style hotel in london ... god dam trouble was it was just "baby" not a boy or a girl or anything :rofl:

had better go do some work ...

I'm sure your scan will go fine, i was soo nervous for mine, i couldnt stop shaking. I was 9+6 and could see LO really clearly.
I'm too thinking about getting a private sexing scan as i want to know, although i dont know if they will tell or not at my regular scan. x

The scan is going to be fine honey! If you want that sexing scan then go for it. I know I will prob book one of those too, I mean why not, it's not like we can have them all the time, why not make the most of it and have the experience!

Knowing the sex means you can get ready and prepared too, I like to be ready!!!!!!

Haha that is definitely quite the teasing dream....no boy or girl just a baby and unknown...darn it!! I havent had any baby dreams I dont think since finding out...just really messed up dreams that dont make any sense. I hope you can get your sexing scan so you can get excited and buy baby stuff!! I really want to find out too so hopefully my hospital will tell me at 20 wks when I go back. If not I will have to wait until 26wks when I go for my 3/4D scan. I got mine done (a 4D scan) at Preview in Northampton. Might be the same place? Was only a 45 minute drive.

GOD what a horrible night!! I felt a bit off all afternoon and when i got in a barely ate my dinner, and was asleep by 8PM!! Carl woke me to go to bed at 11 and i was restless all night, i dont know if i didnt feel well because everytime i woke i was rubbing my belly. When i finally settled i had the same dream for a second time in a week .... i walked to france, it didnt take long in my dream about 2 hours :rofl: there was a twist last night, i was in a hotel room with carl and this girl walked in, in a dressing gown and i went mad ... i chased her down the hall and cut all her hair off and then stabbed her with the scissors :ninja: then i went back and sobbed and sobbed and all i can remember saying is "im pregnant with your child how could you do this to me"

Obviously it woke me and i went and laid on the sofa sobbing my little heart out .. must of nodded off because carl woke me at 7.30 and asked why i slept on the sofa. I didnt want him to think i was mad so i said i didnt feel well. It wasnt a lie, i feel really odd today, not like my normal crappy feeling.

So i am at home this morning, will go to work at lunchtime, i feel bad for not going in as i had 2 and a half days of last week, but its such a nightmare when you feel ill and you have to deal with screaming customers :hissy:

Ladies i think im going mad :hissy:

Aww I am so sorry you're not feeling too good. Don't feel bad about being off work, there are loads of pregnant women out there who have loads of time off - because they need it. You have to think of you and your little bean.

God i cant seem to shake this whole countdown every week thing, i guess its from all the time watching when TTC :rofl:

Perked up a bit last night and watched a film with Carl ... all of a sudden i felt sick and bam within a minute i was head down the loo ... lovely. That was odd normally you feel sick for a while before your actually sick but this just kinda came from nowhere. I didnt seem to settle afterwards either, had stomach ache so had to have a drop of the magic gaviscon. :rofl:

So im stuck at work this morning because its my turn to work, i only have to wrok until 12.30 but im thinking more of 11.30 at a push. Once the work is done theres no point in me being here.

Then im going home to do as little as possible for the rest of the weekend :happydance:

Still feeling a little bleergh as the ms has reappeared over the last few days ... annoying i thought i was over the worst of it.

Am off to my mums today shes cooking roast beef in exchange for carl fixing the roof on her car. mmmmmmmm roast beef is my fav :happydance: think whilst their doing that and im bored i might walk down to town and spend some money, keep my occupied :hissy:

Got a good week ahead of me i hope, scan on friday. part of me is excited but theres still that scared bit i mentioned a little while ago. Im petrified something is wrong, just because of past unresolved problems with my lady bits ... but im thinking positive on the whole and cant wait to see my LO :cloud9:

Am not feeling too good today ladies ... i am feeling very upset with everything that is going on on this forum the last couple of days. First Amy, then Becky has gone into hosp and now 7WZ going into early labour and losing her little boy. I am just feeling so sad right now and can only think what they must all be going through :cry:

Apart from worrying about the girls, im feeling ok .. only 5 days until my scan so getting excited about that. Someone at work today made a little comment about Carl's ex gf .. " oh did you know carls ex is going out with so and so" like he's "the man" around here. So what? LOL like i care, im having Carls baby whats more interesting that that?

Right im stuck on my own at work this morning so had better go do something!!

I too am feeling really sad - particularly for Maisie's loss of her little boy. Life can be so cruel and unfair.

Just wanted to add another thing to my journal today before i forget.

I am kinda pissed at my nan and i dont really know what to do, She is one of the most stubborn people i know. Well my mum text me 2 say my nan has to go to hospital as her vagina has prolapsed, nothing to worry about i thought ... then she decided to tell us all she's had bloodi n her wee. "how long for nan?" "oh about a year" FFS nan why didnt you say before!!!!!

So she went to hospital to get checked out and its a tumour .... something to do with her bladder. So now i am pissed she didnt say because what if its really bad now and could of been prevented or eased if she'd of said something earlier? grrrrrrr silly woman.

So now we are waiting for her to be called in to have an op, im not quite sure how it all works. So im left feeling a little mixed, mad and worried :cry:

Hopefully all we be well, just wanted to keep a note of it in here!!

Oh I know what you mean about your Nan!!!!!!!! I used to work in an old peoples home...and as you say...they are soooo stuborn! (I loved it though!:happydance:)...but heres hoping things are ok!

Im getting more and more excited about my scan now, i cant wait to meet my LO!! Im more exited for Carl really as this will be his first "real" experience of me being pregnant which will be nice :cloud9: he'll know what all the tiredness and sickness has been for!!

Carl has already said if it turns out to be a boy he's going to get him into football as early as poss as he want him to play for Arsenal .... not aiming too high there eh :rofl:

Sickness is still on the go atm, so feeling a little crappy with that, not long to go now though as it should ease off ... well thats what im hoping LOL

Ok i admit it, im getting a bit more excited the closer we get to my scan.

Am feeling quite good today, still a little sicky but better. Had a bit of a hormonal sulk earlier at Carl ... dont really know what i wa ssulking about though :rofl:

A customer noticed i was pregnant today :cloud9::cloud9: that made me smile, its nice when you dont have to "point" it out to people.

Right im going to get some lunch before i demolish this whole pack of cherry sweets

So some of you may remember from my TTC journal about Carls brothers ex GF tricking him into making her pregnant ... well its all out in the open now, everyone knows and hasnt said much of anything!! She went for her 20wk yesterday and it was a boy ... apparently she was gutted!! Cheeky f**in b**ch should be grateful she's even having this one under such false circumstances!!

So she's due 10 weeks before me, Carls mum already has 4 grandkids ... now by the time my LO comes it'll be number six, i just have a horrible feeling that everyone is going to be caught up in this LO and not pay any attention when mine arrives .... hormones on the go again!!

On a niceis note my ex's sis had her baby, it was a lil boy, she's named him Zeph ... unusual!! Shes a footballers wife so went down to london to a private hospital (alright from some) but the poor little boy is poorly so she only managed to get home for one day and then her and baby had to go back, i hope their alright!!

Since everyone knows that she tricked his brother they are probably not gonna be to proud especially since she's upset that it's a boy she should be happy with whatever gender she gets that ungrateful skank! It's their like 3rd child together right? Yours and Carls baby is the first one coming from you guys so that's special and everyone is gonna wanna see the first baby made by you guys^_^ They've already experienced his brother and that idiot having babies now it's all about you guys.

I do feel sad for the baby it's definitely not his fault that she's such a witch and is bringing him into this world because of her nasty tricks and then she has the nerve to be sad that he's a boy:growlmad:!
