Black Spaghetti

Just saw this online... and it freaked me out!
Has anyone tried it? I know that the taste is the same but the look is :wacko: :wacko: :wacko: :wacko:

Looks gross to me! A specialty store around my place sells beautiful black and white pasta, along with some rainbow colored bows and shells. But I think they're prettier in lovely pots than on a plate!!!

Disgusting! I wouldn't even try it as the look of it, especially right now, makes me gag!

Is that the one that's dyed with octopus ink? I remember seeing something like that on tv before.. x

My DH would like i've gone mad if I served that for dinner!!!!! Yikes!

Traditionally it's dyed with octopus ink. I've had it in Spain and Italy, actually my grandmother-in-law gave us some, which I cooked with seafood, it's a delicacy but doesn't really taste any different.
Must say ours didn't look as gross as those pictures, think because ours was much much thinner strands, those do look like worms!
