Hi All,

I'm really getting into prams at the moment, I'm hoping to buy my one in the sales with some of my wedding money, woo hoo!!

I really like the new Quinny Buzz, just wondered if anyone had already brought one and what they thought of it, would you recommend it??

I love the cool colours they come in, however I think I'll go for the black.

I'm open to suggestions and wanted some recommendations from you ladies..

Also I wondered if there are any I should deffo NOT buy etc.. Ones you've already tried and tested...

The Quinny is quite expensive, esp as you have to buy everything seperately, it will work out to be about 500 ish.. So I'm still looking around and need your help !!

Thanks !!

After watching girls buy pram after pram I was a bit picky on my choice and in the end went with the Icandy Apple ... all in all pricey though but I won't be going out buying 2-3 prams over 12 months!

Frame/buggy £300
Carseat £100
Carrycot £100 (as much as I wanted this us not driving we would mainly use carseat much to my discust so didnt get it after a friends advice too who does drive)
Footmuff £50
Fleece thing for the buggy bit (optional) - £20
Free raincovers for pram and carseat

I love it!!!! Its a smooth little buggy, not heavy! Went to take it home and the door wouldn't shut *easy - clipped the wheel off then clipped it back on* in a second. Optional 1 or 2 wheels ....

If I had another it changes to a double so no having to get a new pram just the adaptors to change it to an icandy pear :D

Link shows you the setup of pram etc:

Does it fold down nice and small, I have a tiny boot !!

Where can you buy these wobbles, any main stores?

Similar prices to the Quinny, at least it isn't more !! lol

With these the companies have to sell at the price the company give - theres no bulk offers etc. Pop into a local baby shop in town theres always one and hopefully they would have one to show you. The back wheels are bulky but the frame fold is fab and like I say those wheels click off and on in a second honestly theres fuss with it.

I looked at the first wheels first and liked (I think it was just the design tbh) - I then looked at the Jane prams online and when I found a local baby shop I 'hated' the Jane and we tried this one out. Both me and OH love it and yer it does look rather swissy hehe

As a pushchair:

We just clipped the car seat on most of the time though, ^ thats not the colour we have, we have the petrol one shown in the first pic.
It is a pram and matching car seat which clips onto the pushchair to form a travel system.:

It's really light, easy to use, comfy, nice material and lasts a while. Also fairly expensive, but worth the money.

I love the Icandy range. If I hadnt gone for the Silvercross its probably one I would have picked. You can use it as a travel system (with the car seat) Pram or stroller.

The car seat
http://www.babyandco.com/imagprod/SIL_SX401CB.jpg

When I bought this it was quite pricey as the changing bag, cosy toes & parasol were sold sepately as an accessories pack so I paid just short of £500 for the whole lot

I beleive when Mothercare brought in the autumn winter catalog the accessories are now included in the price apart from the parasol which is £19.99. You do have to buy the car seat separetly at £90 and the pram is now £299 so to buy it now would cost just a little over £400... I should have waited :dohh: but never mind.

I couldnt tell you what its like out and about as my little one dosent want to come out but OH and I have been faffing about with it in the house and it seems pretty good. Its not too heavy and seems quite smooth.

I have the i-candy apple, I love it.......it has been great and 10 months down the line it is in great shape and I still love it, I would buy this over and over again! The company are ace too, when they first came out they had a little design fault with the front wheels and weight distribution, so they replaced ours in no time with no quibble and supply these bigger wheels now as standard for this model. x

Yeah I'm really liking the Icandy Apple too, I've only seen a few around, but I like it that not everyone has that one.. lol

I wanna see one though, I like to give them a bit of a test drive around the shop but I can't find somewhere near me that stocks them !! Well annoying..

I like the fact there are not many around, I have only seen one in my travels!!

It is so easy to manouvre and has a nice size basket underneath too, which is soo handy! And as Wobs said earlier, the widest part is where the back wheels are and if you struggle to fit this in the car or get thru somewhere, the back wheels clip off! Paul is tall, so we had to find something where the handle extends, and the apple does this a treat, it is also really easy to put up and down, and put the carseat on and off and the buggy etc.......

10/10 for me!http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n86/no1tam/th25116qdnkqwcdf6.gif

Believe they do yer!

I love the fact we have seen no other Icandys in our town so far hehe Stylish baby :baby: lol

You'll love it Im sure bonus about the apple is it changes into a pear (how mad is this lol) - a double buggy .... easily! Which is another reason for our purchase ;)

I REALLY want the Silvercross 3D. I did want the M&P Pliko pramette but the Silvercross looks a bit better made and it's cheaper. Still having battles with dp over it though because he reckons £300 is far too much to spend when you can get a whole travel system in Mothercare for £150. Luckily my sister said she'd go in half with me as a present so he can't argue with that!

Seen a couple of girls go for the systems from Mothercare etc for around £150 and buy a new one in a couple of weeks - MrsE being one she also bought a second a lil bit more expensive but same style system and bought pram 3  ... just a thought. This was why I was prepared to pay more for a pram I knew I liked!

We got the Silver Cross Linear Freeway although if we were less of a brand-snob we probably would have got the Mothercare one which is almost identical (I think it was called Trenton Delux) and about about £100+ cheaper!! I liked the one-handle design (thought it would be easier to steer one-handed with umbrella or shopping) and the adjustable handle height. It is pretty heavy though.

A few other parents-to-be I know have bought bugaboo prams but that is because it seems to suit their lifestyles (hill walking/jogging etc). They are expensive but I think they said they got them on Ebay for about £300.

Personally I found that one of the biggest deciding factors when we were looking at prams/buggies was finding one that would fit in the boot of a car! Harder than you would think... it actually ended up influencing our car choice too! Babies are expensive!!!
