What's everyone's favourite ovulation predictor kit? Have any of you managed to find cheap ones that are reliable? Do you want advice on any?
Post here!:crib:

Well my favourite are Clearblue Digitals. Pricey but really clear to read - they give you a definite result (a smiley face for LH surge, a circle for no surge) instead of having to squint at lines.

You can buy cheaper Clearblue Digitals on Access Diagnostics - not much cheaper. They are about £19.00 instead of the £23.00 they go for in Boots. Worth it if your cycle is regular (means you could use two or three out of the pack of seven instead of all seven).

I haven't used boots own but I definatly think the Clear Blue digital is the best because with many of them you have to figure out when the line is at it's darkest and that can be tricky but the digital tells you clearly with a smiley or an empty circle so you don't think you're ovualting when you're not and stop testing.

Ive not tried it for a full cycle yet, but the clearblue fertility monitor seems good.
Easy to interpret your fertile times by a low, high or peak level indicator.

Be warned ladies... I had a nightmare with OPKS.... no LH surge for 2 whole cycles so went to the doc in a complete panic thinking I wasn't ovulating.... blood test confirmed I had ovulated. Doc said the blood test much more accurate than the OPK.... have stopped using them as found it more stress than it was worth.

on my 2nd cycle usuing CBFM. Very easy to use and read. It is a bit pricy but it takes all of the guess work out of it. You can get them used and reset them for a fraction of the cost on Amazon and Ebay. I got a package deal with 60 test strips but it was still a bit so spit out in one sitting. Hope to be able to tell you if it worked in a week or so. Good luck

I am about 11 dpo and a friend suggest i do an opk (had one laying around anyway)... The strangest thing happened.
I have actually got 2 lines (yes2) in the test area and one in the control area. The ones in the test area are darker than the control one. but i have never seen nor heard anyone have two lines in the test area.
Could this mean that i am Preg.
Have been ttc for 3 months
I have a dr appointment later in the week so will have a test done then.
but in the meantime any ideas or thought would be great.

Which one did you use? I have just started using CB digi and I have had 2 lines for 2 days. I know that I am not pregnant. I guess the lines get darker when you are ready!

I agree I used CB but ran out of them with no surge; started panicking so bought some off Access diagnostics.co.uk and POAS till day 20 and finally had a surge, very clear line too, no need to squint lol. No BFP this month though so will be using them again just to make sure my cycle is the same this mth.
