toriaaaaTRASH do what I do for any photo I post...open photo in paint and click text mode and put in you name in a contrasting color some where on the photo with the date (can be your user name or real initials)...anything that lays claim that it is your photo...(don't do along edges where they can just crop it out though)...they won't steal if they have to work at making it look like a photo that was theirs.

can i do that on a mac, ive been trying since i registered on here. ive even decided not to post my scan pics incase they get robbed so ive changed my avatar. crazy people around

Just use photoshop or any other paint kind of application. I used to have a Mac, but i've had this Pc for a while so all the application names have gone out of my head, but you'll def be able to use something to do it on a Mac and it'll be much easier to do than it is on Windows lol.

Fotopic will watermark images for you, alternatively you can also get free water-marking programs on that there t'interwebs I've heard of. Picture Shark is one... does batch lots, too
